Urban Field Office is founded by Rone Chiang. UFO is a design studio that specializes in architecture, landscape, and interior design. We are dedicated to creating unique and sustainable spaces. The core value of our practice is established on place-making, field-creating, generative process and environmental awareness. Our approach to design explores how to utilize space as a medium to promote growth and creativity. We strive to create innovative designs that enhance the built environment and improve the quality of life for our clients and communities.

Rone Chiang - Founding Principal
Dedicated to the pursue of a dynamic relationship between architecture and urban environment, the logic of the design has gradually formed through the process of observing phenomenon, parametric exploration, tectonic composition, and nature recall. He has been recognized for seamlessly integration of environmental, cultural and contextual strategies to curate a holistic design approach through various building types and landscape. With ten years of experience, Rone has led teams in projects of institutional buildings, residential housing, urban design, and won competitions from small scale to large scale. He became a registered architect from United States in 2021.
在致力於追求建築與都市環境的一種動態關係之中，設計的邏輯逐漸的在現象觀察、參數式探索、構造的關係，以及對自然的呼應之中形成。他在透過不同的建築類型及景觀設計執行當中對環境、文化以及脈絡高度整合被廣為認可。在超過十二年的工作經歷之中，Rone 已經帶領設計團隊參與過公共建築、住宅建築、景觀都市設計，以及在大尺度及小尺度的設計競賽中贏得首獎。
